sarah truscott made in bradford on avon - self portrait.JPG

Sarah Truscott weaves scarves, rugs and wall hangings. She started weaving in the early nineties and since then has enjoyed the contrast of two woven techniques that rug and scarf weaving brings.

She decided to specialise in rug weaving following a series of commissions and enjoys the process of working with the client to bring the rug to life in design and colour. Scarf weaving offers more freedom in it's process and is woven using only natural fibres. Typically cotton, linen, silk and merino wool can all be found in the same woven piece.

Sarah can be found in her workshop in Frome and her work can be seen at independent galleries, art trails and exhibitions.
